What is the Going Local Training programme?

The ‘Going Local’ Training Programme has been designed by PEP and Alba exclusively for the South West of England’s councils, housing associations and tenants organisations, to provide training on issues arising from the Government’s localism agenda.

The training programme comprises of the following courses:

  • Getting involved in local decisions
  • Involving the community in the procurement of services
  • Empowering women tenants
  • Involving the community in achieving value for money
  • Sustainability for community groups
  • Future direction of social housing

Our aim is to develop a consortium of members within the South West areas to which we can jointly deliver affordable training on today’s hot topics.

Who is involved in the programme?

Priority Estates Project (PEP) and Alba have joined up in partnership to deliver this exclusive training programme for you. With over 35 years combined training experience, our reputation for training tenants, residents and staff on over 200 different topics means that you will be getting the best possible training service with up to date industry knowledge provided by our expert training consultants.

How do I join?

All that you need to do is to register with the Consortium by completing a booking form and you will be added to the group.
