Chatterley Whitfield was the first pit in Europe to mine 1 million tons of coal in a year. It closed in 1978 and is now a scheduled Ancient Monument.
It is also one of the most exciting regeneration sites in the country. PEP is delighted to be among the first tenants in the brand new Enterprise Centre.
