Case Study
PEP supported Chelmer Housing Partnership to review its Tenant Participation Strategy. The aim was to engage with hard to reach groups and individuals to help them become involved.
PEP ran small focus groups across the Borough with existing tenants and residents associations and in sheltered blocks and areas which were not represented by an existing group.
The informal focus groups were useful in getting tenants’ views on how they wanted to get involved in the improvement of services and their community, without requiring them to attend formal meetings.
The process gave a strong voice to individuals who would not usually participate.
