Tenants As Managers

Tenant Management puts tenants into the driving seat in determining how services will be provided in their community and working in partnership with their landlord. The Dept for Communities & Local Government provides Tenant Empowerment Grants to resident groups who are interested in developing Tenant Management Organisations for their communities.

PEP is an Approved Agency to work with tenants to develop new Tenant Management Organisations and also supports existing Tenant Management Organisations.

Tenant Management can cover a range of responsibilities including:

Case Study

Clapton Park Estate Management Board appointed PEP to renegotiate their management agreement with the London Borough of Hackney. PEP supported Board members with a training programme and a clear programme of negotiations with the London Borough of Hackney to review responsibilities within the partnership and review allowances.
